Abstract
This paper is a brief reflection of the challlenges of education for the future and the effect that the pandemic could have on preparing us for them. It identifies opportunities that are currently in place, and argues that the deep disruption caused by the pandemic, could be creating conditions fostering a more dynamic assimilation of the important changes that the future is demanding today. Digital technologies are one of the challenges that the closure of schools forced to be adopted more broadly and immediately, opening up a great opportunity for renewal and improvements.
